I just read this dumbass post on the board, where I got that joke from, and I got to thinking. I swear there has never been a more classic display of sterotypes. You've got the Republicans on there calling the democrats
"crying, slimy, snotty, blithering", then you have the few democrats on there throwing "
a crying, slimy, snotty, blithering fit".
Before you start throwing stones Democrats, let me tell you this. Bottom line I'm conservative, whether I claim Republican or not, I'm definately CONSERVATIVE. I actually have a lot of issues with the Republican party. They need to grow some Balls. If they need a pair, I have a few I'd be happy to loan them. I found it to be a breath of fresh air to see Bush so firm on his issues tonight. It's about DAMN time someone took charge up there and took care of business. I couldn't even entertain the idea of where this country would be right now without that man. Before you start your liberal bullshit pissing and moaning about how "unfair" it all is, know you're talking to someone who was born without the emotion of compassion. I don't want to hear you bitching unless you're missing a body part or bleeding profusely, actually I don't even want to hear it then. I probably don't do any favors to those conservatives out there who actually are compassionate. But hey, life's tough, suck it up and do something about it.
However, in the interest of "fairness" I will say that I can understand that people would have opposing views, everyone is entitled. It's a simple matter of different logic. I know that it is just as difficult for Democrats to understand Republicans as it is for me to fathom what in the hell is logical about liberal ideas and actions. I always listen to their side of things, I don't go into life with a closed mind. I just know the difference between right and wrong in my heart, and it just so happens to agree with more conservative lines of thought. So on that note, I'll leave you all with a preview of the future of our Republican party...I'm PROUD to introduce my 'adopted' bro Jared with his very own spin factor

A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. She prided herself on being a liberal Democrat while her father was a rather staunch Republican. One day she was challenging her father on his beliefs and his opposition to programs like welfare. He stopped her and asked her how she was doing in school. She answered that she had a 4.0 GPA but it was really tough. She had to study all the time, never had time to go out and party and often went sleepless because all of the studying. She didn't have time for a boyfriend and didn't really have many college friends because of all her studying.
He then asked how her friend Mary, that was attending the same college, was doing. She replied that she was barely getting by. She had a 2.0 GPA, never studied, was very popular on campus and was at parties all the time. She often wouldn't show up for classes because she was hung over. He then asked his daughter why she didn't go to the Dean's office and ask why she couldn't take 1.0 off her 4.0 and give it to her friend who only had a 2.0. That way they would both have a 3.0 GPA. She fired back, "That wouldn't be fair, I worked really hard for mine and my friend has done nothing."
After a moment of silence, her father replied, "I guess you'll never vote Democrat again".
I hate to break it to all you Democrats, but that's it in a nutshell.

I'm becoming extremely disenchanted with this thing. I hate this template, I can't find one that I like, and I don't have time to sit on my ass to make my own. What's a girl to do. Plus I've found myself lately with a complete and total lack of inspiration, not too mention the only think intelligent I've had to say lately has been about topics such as ontogeny, phylogeny, and taphonomic variability. Yeah so maybe I'm a dork, but I love Geology. For that matter, all the earth sciences. My Astronomy and Meteorology classes kick ass too. The way I figure it, you just can't have much more fun than digging in the dirt looking for cool stuff. Plus it's a real good excuse to go camping and all that other good stuff. Speaking of, isn't it time to go to the lake yet? I'm feeling deprived, I honestly am beginning to HATE winter. Where in the hell is the sun?

Then no matter how much we try to ignore this nagging thought, it's there, eating away at us. Till we let the thought of him control our emotions. How very unfair we are to ourselves. The only emotions they should ever have any control over are amusement. when we are no longer amused we should allow ourselves to be just as free as they are to move on to the next unsuspecting victim.

What a Beautiful start to a wonderful new year!
It's a nice 70 degrees outside, the sun is bright, and the car needs to be washed.
Then it's time to pack up all my crap and hope to God I'll be back by monday. I'm FINALLY headed to the Deerlease. It's been over a year since I've been down there, I might have to go visit mi familia in the valley, do a little shopping in Mexico. Sounds like fun :)
