Hold your drinks up high and toast the night!
Feel free to share the love! Shiner's got the perfect thing for you...
Virtual Beer. You know you want to send one of these to your favorite people! I got one of these from Gougler last year about this time and I just felt the need tonight to send one to someone special. So if you're feeling my love tonight have a few rounds on me. Oooh and on that note, I got the lyrics to a GREAT song in my e-mail, I shall share...
-Kace
p.s. below is one of the songs I've written for my band called The Benji Riverview Band... let me know what ya'll think
Chorus
I want a cold case of Miller, a shot of Jim Beam,
A pack of Camel Lights, and some Robert Earl Keen,
A can of Copenhagen, a Jerry Jeff tune,
On a boat in Lake Travis in the middle of June.
Verse 1
Well its off to the store, that little beer barn,
a cold case of Miller, wont do us any harm.
But I go ahead and get a flask, of my favorite- Jim Beam,
I round up all my boys, and we start our drinkin team.
A couple of packs of cigs, to get me through the night,
To me it sounds like everything is getting started just right.
I've got my brand new can of snuff, in the pocket of my jeans,
Listenin' to that Copenhagen song by Robert Earl Keen.
I drive my truck through the town, pickin up my friends,
drinkin all along the way, but this is only where it begins.
Chorus
Verse 2
All of my boys are ready, they keep on throwin em back,
All of us knowin tomorrow, a memory we'll lack.
We pull up to the house, where the party's at tonight,
I might get a girl in the sack, if I play my cards just right.
Instead I stumble across the floor, making such a fool,
I can't believe I'm doin this, cause my lady's such a jewel.
So I decide to get off that track, and down a few more shots,
About 30 minutes later, my head starts twistin in knots.
My walkin ability is fadin, I'm fallin to the ground,
My buddies are too drunk to help me up, It's how I know they're the best around.
Chorus
Verse 3
After 5 hours of drinkin, we start to head back home,
I'm sure not I'm condition to drive, who knows where we're gonna roam.
We finally make it back, that driveway looks so good,
I probably downed 20 and drove, who woulda thought I could?
Pilin' into bed, the night was great without a doubt,
We sure as hell ain't sleepin', were just passin' out.
Wakin up the next morn, its like I've been to hell and back,
Don't know shit about last night, my memory is all black.
We start drinkin again, about a quarter to five,
Who knows what's in store, or if we'll even survive.
