Someone to...
tell every detail of my day to
make dinner for

curl up on the couch and watch tv with
make coffee for in the mornings
pick out new furniture with for our first apartment or house
go grocery shopping with
hold my hand
watch me sleep
pick me up and dust me off when I fall
call when my car breaks down
kiss goodnight
go camping with
share a beer with after work
sit on the front porch with
talk about our unborn grandchildren with
go swimming with at midnight
suprise with an awesome gift 'just because'
say 'honey I'm home!' to when I walk in the door
dance barefoot in the living room with when our favorite song comes on
tell me it's ok when I have a bad day
talk to me when I can't sleep
tell me my hair looks great even when it's gray
watch our kids go off to their first day of school with
still be there when our kids grow up and move out
grow old with
An' I'm lettin' go of all my lonely yesterdays.
