I'm still here...

Just busy and stressed and downright crazy.
Brian's grandfather passed away a few weeks ago and life has been a rollercoaster since. His Grandmother got sick last week and has been in and out of the hospital. So I met all the family and needless to say they love me!
Then we had court last wednesday and the bitch didn't show up. She just up and decided a few weeks ago we couldn't have the kids and won't return any calls. So that's going to be a bitch. But nothing's easy right?
We had our first round of tests, he of course made 100's on each of his tests and I made an 89 in Calculus which is damn good if you've ever taken calculus.
So we've been a full month now without the kiddos and its really starting to bum me out. Don't get me wrong its a circus when they are there, but man I miss them. I bought them a dresser and I'm going to fix up Amy's room for them (if she ever gets her stuff, haha). There is a pretty high possibility that we will get full custody of them. So keep your fingers crossed and say a few extra prayers. I know that she's been calling mutual friends trying to get them to testify against Brian because her lawyer told them we were in a great position to get them. So here's hoping.

Ok, updating...

The weekend was good, it would have been great but I was suffering from the most unbelievably horrible PMS I've ever experienced in my entire life. I however, managed to not be a complete and total bitch and all went well. We spent saturday in Nac going to resale shops and all that good stuff. Brian bought my some clothes and some more teacups for my collection. Sunday my parents made me dinner and bought me a cake. We had fabulous grilled rainbow trout from Colorado, and they bought me AWESOME new steps for my front and back doors. Plus mom bought yellow and purple mums and sat them all around my steps. It's wonderful. Other than that the weekend was low key. This week has been ridiculously busy and I have a field trip tomorrow to the Trinity River of all places. We're mapping and identifying stream structures, hell I live on one. Anyway, we were supposed to have the kids but the heinous bitch had something 'come up'.
So we're off to Gatorfest tomorrow night for some Cory Morrow and Roger Creager with Brian's sisters. Misty and I have started calling each other Sister in law and I it's just crazy to think that I'm going to have a sister in law!

The anniversary of my 25th birthday is this sunday. Brian is taking me to the lake house for a romantic weekend. I can't wait! We went to the Museum of Natural Science in H-town last weekend with my parents, so this weekend is all ours. Although last weekend was a blast. We hung out with Jess and Pedro who I've been desperately missing. We of course partied like rock stars and closed down Triggers. I ran into my ex Jason and of course got to introduce him to the love of my life, haha. Then I found out he's going to be a Daddy soon and according to him when that happens he's going to start coming back around. He knows I'll take him back once this baby comes along. Can he be any more kinds of crazy???????? Over my dead body and then some would I take that piece of shit back.
*East Texas Summer Nights are the ones I love the most. It's been so pleasant in the evenings here lately, I just love it. We've been BBQ'ing and drinking beer so much that we realized it's our MO. It's what we do and we've good at it ;)
I can't find my Natalie kitty, maybe I'm just not meant to have a cat out here.
