God works in mysterious ways...
betchya never heard that before ;) Well I was contemplating this on the way home today. I'd just come from the grocery store where I ran into an OLD friend, like jr. high old, who I hadn't seen in a while even though she lives right up the road from me. We used to be downright inseperable even though there was a 2 year age difference. Well we began to catch up when she told me she was in the process of getting a divorce and living back home again. She's got two children and it was a hard decision for her to make, but I'm confident it was for the best, she looks great. We exchanged phone numbers with a promise to get together and go out. On my way home I was thinking about how every night in my Jabez prayer I pray for the lord to expand my social circle and to bring new people and experiences into my life and how today he did. Then when I got home I had a letter waiting for me that overwhelmed me to tears. I had recently told my soon to be newly-wed friend Amy about my dream I had a while back. She seemed to be pretty moved by it. Today I recieved a letter from her father, it reads...
Dear Lacy,
Amy told me about your dream and I felt compelled to send you some info on the HOLY SPIRIT. The Holy SPIRIT is mentioned throughout the old and new testament. He is mentioned by several names: THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD, MY SPIRIT, THE HELPER, ETC. As christians we understand GOD as a trinity-GOD, the father-GOD, the son-GOD, the holy spirit or the holy ghost. They are all equal. You could say that the HOLY SPIRIT is the energy of GOD. Beginning in Genisis 1:1 HE begins to create and lead. The bible is inspired by the HOY SPIRIT, therefore, the bible is GOD speaking to us. I encourage you to read your bible daily and pray to the HOLY SPIRIT for help and guidance daily. HE abides in each of us and will never leave you.

I'm more amazed by God on a daily basis. The more I pray for awareness and answers, the more he sends me. I woke up from that dream with an absolute hunger to find out what it meant. I knew it was significant and I knew it was from God. I've read books, looked at websites, and talked to people about it. I now know what it means, and have since paid more attention to what the Lord is trying to tell me and show me. I continue to pray daily for his guidance and direction in my life.
