Oh my goodness my feet hurt. However, I saw some awesome stuff today. We spent the day in DC checking out all the
Smithsonian had to offer.
The Hope Diamond wasn't quite as impressive as I thought it would be, but it was still cool to see. The sculpture garden at the
Hishhorn Museum was really neat too. We decided it would be cooler if we were the curators though. Modern art needs a new spin on it. The modern art museum was damn cool. I now know why the
Blue Dog is blue, because the sky is too. We saw the
Star Spangled Banner that inspired our national anthem. And of course the always interesting replica of
Julia Child's kitchen. Then of course Harry Winston's
The Splendor of Diamonds exhibit was money (my god did I just use that word?). So tomorrow its back to DC to check out the main attractions, you know, stuff like the nations capital, lincoln memorial, white house, that sort of thing.
