Josh and I went to the COOLEST place yesterday after lunch, Sunrise Records. They resold old records. They had a ton of Lacy J. Dalton records (which is who I'm named after) It was one of those places that wreaks of strong incense and sells interesting 'paraphernalia' if you catch my drift. We totally fit the part though, Josh with his long hair and Hardin girls Volleyball t-shirt and me in my 'Renaissance' peasant top, we could have easily passed as certifiable stoners in any head shop. The dude behind the counter had a beard and a small braid at the tip that was about 6 inches long. He was decked in all black from head to toe. There were beaded curtains hanging from the ceiling and miscellaneous posters of bands all over the walls. I felt like an extra on the set of Empire Records, only not quite that cool. Josh apparently has an extensive record collection (I'm thinking something like John Cusack in High Fidelity). All in all it was an interesting experience, I give it an 8.5 on a 10 scale.
Let me explain it to you. Mitchell's the man, I'm the idiot,
and you're the screw up; and we're all losers. Welcome to music
town.
