Alright Damnit...
London it is.

day one...
We left Houston at 4pm, arrived in Frankfurt Germany at 8:30am (lost 6 hours), left Frankfurt at 12:30pm, arrived in London at 2:00pm.
Didn't get to the hotel till 5pm because apparently it takes 2 hours to go 20 miles.
Spent that evening (after 3 hours of sleep in the past 24 hours) at the Tower of London and the London Bridge.

After having NO hot water at the hotel and washing my hair with the hot water I brewed in the tea maker, we started the day at St. Paul's Cathedral.

Then there was the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace

We then went to Windsor Castle where the Queen was still in residence for the weekend. This was by far my favorite. I don't know why, there is just something about roaming around such an ancient place where history was made that is totally awe inspiring.

We finished the evening with the fantastic musical We Will Rock You

We then came home to absolutely NO water in our hotel and at 1 am the lights went off. So we had a slumber party in the GHETTO till 3 am when they finally came back on.

The next morning was spent at the Eye of London

The House of Parliament and the Tower of Big Ben from the Eye of London

We had lunch at Covent Garden. For those of you who don't know one of my favorite movies My Fair Lady was filmed there.

The evening was spent at the British Museum.
The One and Only Rosetta Stone. If you don't know what it is, look it up and expand your tiny brain.
I then went home and had the ONLY hot shower of the trip.

The Last morning was spent at Westminster Abbey. Totally amazing to look at the tomb of all the kings and queens, great poets, and nobility. It was surreal.

That afternoon was spent shopping in Picadilly Circus (their times square) and the Hard Rock Cafe London.

We then came home after dinner, packed up all our crap and hoped to GOD we'd be home by Monday.
We actually left at 4:30am London time and got home at 6pm our time. That was a long ass day because we gained back our 6 hours.

♥Oh, so vintage... 9:02 PM
